Karratha Baptist was formed in 1976 by a few faithful families who wanted to see the Gospel proclaimed throughout the Pilbara.  It was a time of unsealed roads and meeting in homes.

 

God blessed the Church over the following decades.  A manse/meeting house was built.  As the Church grew the men of the Church met every Saturday to build the current Church building.   The Church ebbed and flowed with the mining boom but has always maintained a strong purpose of proclaiming the Lord Jesus and making disciples for Him.

 

The Church continues to be a light in the community and is seeking to honour the Lord as his ambassadors in Karratha.  Why not become a part of this wonderful history?

 

We are currently in the process of calling a new senior pastor and hope for him to be with us in the coming months.
