MISSION & Partners

Karratha Baptist Church is thrilled to be part of spreading God’s message and love around the world.  We are active in partnering and supporting these mission endeavours with our friendship,  prayers, money and where possible, our involvement.  We take seriously Jesus’ command to be His hands and feet in our community, our country and across the world.  We are involved with our local community through YouthCARE and a community crisis fund.  We have a heart for the Pilbara and seek to have an impact in sharing the good news in our local area.   We are also connected to Australia and the world through Global Interaction and Baptist World Aid.

YouthCARE Chaplaincy

YouthCARE Chaplains are religious workers, employed on a full or part-time basis to work within the school’s professional student services team.  Chaplains provide support and care by building relationships with students, families and staff; offering pastoral care; being a mentor; providing additional practical help for teaching and administrative staff; offering input into spiritual and meaning of life questions; being a positive role model; providing a link between schools and local communities.  Karratha Baptist Church supports YouthCARE.
Sally Pim – Mozambique with Global Interaction
Global Interaction is the international cross-cultural sending agency of Australian Baptist churches and facilitates the service of Australian Baptists in Christ’s global mission.  Beginning 2017 we partner with Sally Pim, who is in Mozambique to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Yau people group.
